His leadership at ExOfficio Outdoor Apparel earned the brand recognition as a three-time INC. 500 fastest-growing private company and positioned it as the second most profitable brand among 97 within a $9 billion public entity.

With degrees in Business and English from Washington State University, Steve is a Certified Sales Leader and System & Soul Coach. He also completed Mann University’s Executive Leadership Course in Retail.

A Seattle native, Steve moved to Bozeman, Montana, to lead sales and culture at Simms Fishing Products. Under his leadership, sales skyrocketed from $19M to $53M in just two years, culminating in a sale at 7X EBITDA.

Passionate about mentoring and coaching business owners, Steve integrates the System & Soul operating framework to build strong, scalable cultures. His deep expertise in B2B and D2C markets allows him to craft go-to-market strategies that consistently drive revenue and profit growth. His structured, results-driven approach has helped numerous organizations succeed where others have struggled.

Steve’s entrepreneurial journey began in his youth as a caretaker at British Columbia’s oldest fishing camp, where he earned extra money tying flies for guests & casting to big slurps under starry nights at Lake HiHium’s Circle W Fishing Camp.
